Fly into WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo to join Bird Island Academy!
Take up THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 challenge from September 5 – October 31
We are is celebrating the release of THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 – in cinemas 12 September – by encouraging kids to take flight with Bomb, Red, Chuck and friends and join Bird Island Academy!
Guests will learn the quirky features of Bird Island’s chirpy residents and complete unique challenges on their journey through the zoo.
Guests can meet the unlikely pairings of the zoo just like frenemies Red and Leonard, time themselves in Chuck’s speed test and help the new character, Silver, build a habitat for a Satin Bower Bird!
Just like Bird Island where Red, Chuck and Bomb come from, experience an array of different species of all different colours flying high above your heads as you venture throughout the Zoo. From brightly coloured Lorikeets to wise Tawney-Frog mouths and clever Galahs, we have a Bird Island of our own!

Throughout your journey, complete the 7 challenges to graduate from Bird Island Academy!
Make sure to keep an eye out for the Hatchlings and Emus along the way to help them find their eggs!
At the end of your journey, children will get their THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2 certificate stamped to certify them as an official graduate of the Bird Island Academy!
Meet Red and also some of our feathery friends!
According to a little birdy, Red will be in full flight at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo for meet and greets from September 28 to October 13 at 11am-11:20am & 11:40-12pm at Koala Rooftop.
