WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo welcomes Winter with surprise snow!
To mark the start of winter, our team at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo had some fun this morning using the snow from the sub-Antarctic penguin exhibit next door at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, bringing snow to our native Australian animals! Some had never seen snow before – so their reactions were a mixed bag! Ringo the wombat couldn’t get enough of it, while Kofi was a little more hesitant!

After two years and the support of zoos and conservation organizations all across the globe it is official - the Government of Papua New Guinea have declared World Tree Kangaroo Day as being the 21st of May each year to raise awareness on Tree Kangaroos and the unique biodiversity of PNG.
