Exclusive talks for every day of the school holidays get to know our amazing Australian wildlife. From our sleepy Koalas to our cheeky Tree Kangaroo, Kofi. Each school holidays is packed with new talks and new information, check back in before heading off on your outback adventure so not to miss out.
Spring School Holidays
From the 24th of September 2022 to the 9th of October 2022 we are bringing you our Dangerous & Deadly keeper talks every half an hour!
11:00am - TREE KANGAROO TALK
Where? Tricky Tongues & Treetops
Meet Kofi, our fluffy, blue-eyed adorable Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo who loves climbing trees and boiled eggs.
11:30am - CASSOWARY TALK
Where? Daintree Rainforest
Is the Cassowary the world's most deadliest bird? Find out at our Cassowary talk featuring Princess, who loves shiny items and red grapes with no seeds.
12:00pm - KANGAROO TALK
Where? Kangaroo Walkabout
Enjoy some macropod madness in Kangaroo Walk-About. Meet our Kangaroo Island Kangaroos mob: Dot, Dusk, Julie, Nutmeg, Kirby and Frankie! What do they eat? Do they really box? How far can they hop?
12:30pm - TASMANIAN DEVIL TALK
Where? Devil's Den
Get to know all about our four Tasmanian Devils and their behaviours. Are Tasmanian Devils actually scary? What conservation efforts are being done to protect these carnivorous marsupials?
1:00pm - KOALA TALK
Where? Koala Rooftop
Meet arguably Australia's most iconic animal at Koala Encounters. Koalas live the typical laid back, 'no worries mate' Australian attitude and lifestyle better than any other animal- sleeping for around 20 hours a day!
1:30pm - CASSOWARY TALK
