When you visit WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, come see our resident cassowary, Princess, and ensure you stay for the 1pm cassowary encounter feed. Your donation goes directly to helping WILD LIFE Conservation Fund restore land for cassowary's in the wild.
WILD LIFE Conservation Fund works on countless exciting projects throughout the year with one of them being 'Project Cassowary'.
'Project Cassowary' is designed to ensure their is a growing number of cassowary's in the wild. This is done by supporting the purchasing of land in the Daintree Rainforest to protect the land and ensure it is suitable for the cassowary population.
WILD LIFE Conservation Fund has contributed funding towards securing Lot 38, Cape Tribulation Rd - a property Rainforest Rescue has now succesfully purchased. This purchase is designed to ensure their is a growing number of cassowary's in the wild.
