Koala School Holiday Activities

Included in your admission ticket

It's Koala season at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo!

Come and meet our adorable Koala Joey’s Buddy, Scarlet and our newest edition to the family (yet to be named!).

For these summer school holidays only and exclusively to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, you can come and take a snap on Koala Rooftop with a Hello Koalas sculpture. Hello Koalas is a bold, ambitious and imaginative sculpture project, which celebrates one of Australia’s iconic animals featuring original designs, hand painted by selected artists and make for the perfect selfie!

You can also have breakfast with the Koalas at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, now available every day! We offer the unique opportunity to meet our iconic Australian koalas, all while enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast. Have breakfast in the company of koalas, an informative koala keeper talk, as well as a koala encounter; a photo opportunity with the chance to enter the enclosure and get up close with our furry koala friends.

*Pre-booking is essential

Koala Conservation

WILD LIFE Conservation Fund

Koalas are one of Australia’s most iconic and admired native animals. Sadly they are now also threatened with extinction. The WILD LIFE Conservation Fund supports the koala research team at Western Sydney University working with koalas based within the Blue Mountains region.

The WILD LIFE Conservation Fund supports this project through fundraising, education and advocacy which enables researchers to continue and expand their koala research and monitoring program.
