What is WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo?

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is like no attraction you have ever experienced before. Read on to learn more about just how much you can see and do here...

Our unique, award-winning zoo combines state-of-the-art design with stunning, authentic theming to recreate the iconic habitats of Australia.

With a wide variety of intimate indoor and expansive outdoor enclosures, including Koala Encounters on the rooftop and the huge Kangaroo Walk-About on the middle level, there is so, so much more than at first meets the eye. What Else Will I Find Inside?

Heaps! We have an extensive schedule of feeds, talks and shows taking place every day, meaning there's always something happening, no matter when you visit.

In addition to the regular activity schedule we also have keepers and interactive staff roaming the attraction throughout the day, sometimes with animals that aren't normally on display.

Get Closer, Go Behind the Scenes or Dine with Koalas!

In the the Koala Encounters area on the stunning rooftop, guests can get up close and intimate with some of our koalas. You can even enter the enclosure and get even closer for a photograph with our cuddly koala friends.

For the ultimate animal encounter, there's the amazing Koala Breakfast experience, which takes place weekend mornings throughout the year. There's also our famous Behind the Scenes tours, where guests can find out more about what goes on in our back of house areas.

Cafe and Gift Shop

Also in the Koala Encounters rooftop zone is our relaxing cafe area. Surrounded by koalas, finches, parrots and doves, and looking out over the Kangaroo Walk-About enclosure, guests can kick back in the sunshine and enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Our large gift shop stocks a wide range of quality merchandise and cold drinks.
