This week WILD LIFE Sydney welcomed Dangi, the world's shortest
man, who popped in to meet our animals.
The 72 year old had never left Nepal until earlier this year
when he was discovered to be the world's shortest man. Dangi's
dream was to travel the world, and meeting koalas was high on his
to-do list.
Nova 96.9 radio presenters Fitzy and Wippa flew Dangi out to
Australia, and are spending the week showing him the top sites of
Sydney. Here at WILD LIFE Sydney, the group got to meet and pat two
of our Koalas, as well as Bailey, our gorgeous baby Golden Brush-tailed
Possum.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi has been declared not only the the world's
shortest living man, but also the world's shortest adult ever! He
measures just 54 centimetres tall, and weighs in at 12 kilograms
(about the size of a koala!).
