There are exciting new exhibit developments going on at WILD
LIFE Sydney! Our 'Outback' exhibit is currently going through some
changes to become the Kangaroo Walk-about. This new zone will
showcase Eastern Grey Kangaroos and Agile Wallabies, as well as
continuing to be the stage for our Outback Adventure Animal
Encounter.
These works will begin on 13th August 2012. From this date, the
outback display will be partially closed, and the kangaroos will be
off display for a short period.
Once the new Kangaroo Walk-about exhibit is ready, the new
animals will be brought in. While the animals get used to their new
space, the area will be partially closed, with peek holes allowing
guests to see the animals exploring their new home.
During this period, the kangaroo feed will be replaced by
exciting animal enrichment training sessions. This is a unique
opportunity where guests can see various animals developing their
natural behaviours. These sessions will include sugar gliders,
echidnas, reptiles or birds.
We look forward to opening the new Kangaroo Walk-about late
September 2012. For any further information, please contact our
call centre on 9333 9288.
